Cleaning Twenty Wheelchairs in Hudson Valley
CP Unlimited wheelchair clinics are complimentary opportunities for communities to deepen their commitment to mobility and help persons with disabilities, seniors, veterans, and anyone else who uses a wheelchair maintain their independence and safety.
On July 13, the CP team ventured to Hudson Valley where we partnered with the Brewster Elks Lodge to host the first of two July clinics (the second in Staten Island on July 20) and be of assistance to twenty local residents.
Services included cleaning and inspection, alongside many small and not-so-small repairs, all performed in the shadow of the club building, constructed more than 200 years ago during the presidency of Thomas Jefferson. Speaking of historic figures, CP was also happy to welcome Bill Miller from the Elks Club who has an astonishing and vaunted 51 years of volunteer work with CP Unlimited!
