A New Day Hab Space Coming to Hudson Valley
Constructive Partnerships Unlimited (CPU) will dedicate its newest and most expansive space in Hudson Valley: a 10,000 square foot Day Habilitation space where weekly education, entertainment, and mobility-focused programming can be offered to adults 18+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities, at a ribbon cutting event on April 24, 2025 at 12:00 PM.
The event will be attended by local business leaders, including representatives from the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce, political figures, and executives from CP Unlimited. In addition, attendees can hear from program participants and tour the grand space featuring the latest movement and assistive devices.
Set in the former home of Marist College, the previous layout needed a complete about-face to ensure smooth travel by the people we support, many of whom require powered wheelchairs to negotiate their environment.
“This is more than four walls…it is the culmination of a vision,” said Penny Lynn Pagliaro, Executive Director of CP Unlimited- Hudson Valley “Our new Day Hab space is where new technologies can be tested and the latest in care can be offered in a space designed to expand independence and mobility and grow the happiness of all who participate and work here.”
