Celebrating the Holidays in Brooklyn
‘Twas the night of CP Unlimited’s Brooklyn Holiday party for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and members of the CP team, and everyone was stirring with excitement.
The sparkling event at Golden Terrace in Richmond Hill, where decorations sparked under festive lights. Over 300 attendees enjoyed an evening of music and dancing as they donned their finest eveningwear to welcome the holiday season. Raffles added a dash of excitement, with lucky winners enjoying some extra gifts in their stockings.
The dance floor became a lively stage, as persons with disabilities and CP staff members scooted and swayed to the rhythms of seasonal tunes. Attendees also leant their voices to sing a beautiful rendition of Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas and their favorite Justin Bieber songs. To everyone’s surprise and delight, not one but two Santa Clauses’ made a grand entrance, spreading double the joy.
This Christmas gathering was a celebration of warmth, camaraderie, and the timeless magic of togetherness.
