CP Unlimited helps over 1,000 people and families with intellectual and developmental disabilities in New York City and the Hudson Valley each year.
While cash is always welcome, there are other ways to give that can benefit you financially while leaving a larger and longer-lasting impact. In fact, more people are giving smarter. See below for current giving options:
Gifts of Stocks or Appreciated Assets
Contributing appreciated assets like stocks, mutual funds, or real estate can be a tax-effective way to support our mission. By donating these assets directly to CP Unlimited you could qualify for a charitable deduction based on the asset’s full market value and bypass capital gains taxes.
Qualified Charitable Contributions
If you’re 70½ or older and hold a traditional IRA, you have the option to make a qualified charitable distribution directly from your IRA to CP Unlimited. This contribution can satisfy your required minimum distribution (RMD) without being counted as taxable income.
Grants from Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)
Your Donor-Advised Fund can make a dramatic impact at CP Unlimited. If your sponsor organization is not listed, please direct your gift to the following:
Legal Name: United Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York State Inc.
Doing business as: Constructive Partnerships Unlimited
Mailing address: 40 Rector Street, 15th Floor, New York, NY 10006
Federal Tax ID Number (EIN): 13-1623856
Matching Gifts
Make an even bigger impact with a matching gift. Many employers match employees’ charitable gifts! Some also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. As your company today if they’ll match your gift to CP Unlimited.
