March is Developmental Disability Awareness Month and National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month
Dear CPU Community:
We recognize March as Developmental Disability Awareness Month and National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month.
As an organization actively making communities more accessible and representative, every home we open and service provided are improvements in the direction of a more visible and participatory world for people with disabilities. With an eighty-year history, the longevity of CPU took its first steps forward on the path of support for people with Cerebral Palsy; we never forget this important legacy.
Today, these observances intersect during an important period in the disability-awareness movement. As innovation in patient care and treatment drives change, CP Unlimited promises to be a knowledgeable partner as we provide data and know-how to motivate better outcomes.
This year we advance our mission in creative and special ways. From publishing insightful pieces on the needs of our DSPs, advocating with officials, incorporating assistive technology across residential settings, and offering a wide slate of New York events, CPU is growing every avenue to get involved, be informed, and expand our audience.
Should you want to contribute to our efforts, please consider how you can support CP Unlimited.
With thanks for your friendship,
Joseph M. Pancari
President & CEO, CP Unlimited
