One Day, 30 Wheelchairs Cleaned and Serviced in Brooklyn
CP Unlimited offers complimentary wheelchair clinics across New York City and Hudson Valley as an extension of our mission to help people with disabilities achieve fulfilling lives. For people who use wheelchairs, including seniors and veterans, these clinics are opportunities to deepen mobility, safety, and independence as CP Rehabilitation Technicians inspect, clean, disinfect, and repair issues with powered and non-powered chairs.
On Saturday in Brooklyn, the team was able to work on more than thirty chairs and help people with disabilities from Independent Living Association in Brooklyn, ADAPT, and other groups, alongside chairs from residents who live with CP on Van Dahlia street and in Starrett City.
The clinic was also highlighted briefly on News12 to help recruit additional participants:
