Celebrating our Adult Education Series Graduates
Every January, CPU celebrates the achievements of the students in our Adult Education Series of virtual classes. Over thirty participants enjoyed a range of courses on cooking, math, reading, nutrition, and many more, tuning in every week to grow their skills and knowledge. Many students took the full gamut of classes (represented by black robes and mortarboards) offered by our Curriculum and Training Specialist, Melissa D’Accordo, PhD, and Virginia Zelhof, Director of Training.
Each learner offered smiles and brief remarks that highlighted the role of these courses and their importance. Said Scott H., “Thank you to Miss Melissa for believing in me, encouraging me…without her this is impossible. Thank you to my classmates who give me courage and strength. I love you all from the bottom of my heart.”
Sebastian Chittilappilly, Director of Programs, offered these thoughts: “Congrats to the class of 2024. I always say ‘knowledge is power’ and so today there is more power today for you. That will enable you to make better decisions for what you truly deserve. Go big in 2025!“
