29 Wheelchairs Cleaned in Brooklyn Means More Mobility, Safety, and Happiness
CP’s Saturday, August 10 wheelchair cleaning in Brooklyn was a transformative experience for nearly thirty people who use wheelchairs in the borough!
Thanks to the efforts of the CP team and boosting from Senator Roxanne Persaud, News 12, and other local agencies, our rehabilitation technicians were able to improve the lives of many individuals from our shared community by diagnosing, fixing, cleaning, and sanitizing all types of wheelchairs including push, powered, and stroller models!
One particular client had a specifically tough assignment: a fifteen-year-old stroller chair that had not been properly inspected in some time. Thanks to our efforts, Danielle and mom Regina were overjoyed at the results: a shiny, reliable, repaired chair that will help Danielle navigate the city with increased confidence and safety.
