Senator Peter Harckham Tours CP Day Hab Program in Hudson Valley
CP Unlimited’s Hudson Valley Division welcomed New York State Senator Peter Harckham (District 40) to our Day Habilitation setting in Brewster, NY at 15 Mt. Ebo Road S. on Thursday.
A longtime friend of the Agency and the people we support, Senator Harckham has been a staunch advocate and dedicated partner to the disability-provider field as we work together to create opportunities for people with I/DD to achieve fulfilling lives.
During the tour, Senator Harckham got to chat with our supported persons about their self-advocacy work and experiences in the Hudson Valley. He also saw our art education activities and other skills-building exercises. But perhaps the most exciting moment was getting one of the Day Hab fish named after him!
