Cutting the Ribbon on CP’s Newest Home, and First in Yonkers
CP Unlimited took a big step forward to advance our mission by inaugurating our newest residential setting for people with disabilities, and the first of several planned homes, in Yonkers, New York.
CP leadership including Penny Pagliaro, Executive Director of our Hudson Valley division, and Joseph M. Pancari, President & CEO, joined Tasha Diaz (Majority Leader, Councilwoman, District 3) and Yonkers Deputy Mayor Tony Landi, alongside a representative from the office of Nader Sayegh (Assemblyman, 90th District) to officially cut the ribbon for this barrier-free residence!

The ribbon cutting was also an opportunity to hear from the families of those who will be supported; for them, this home means a future of care, comfort, safety, and accessibility. Said one parent: “Thank you for all the attention to detail…and ensuring that the residents get the best level of care. Seeing my son healthy and happy with big smile shows that he is now fully integrated to his new home and all your efforts were worth it! We are super thankful for OPWDD and CP Unlimited for going above and beyond to make this miracle happen!”
