Smiles and Awards for CP Unlimited at the Germain Consulting Healthcare Hero Gala
A cohort of CP Unlimited team members honored three of their own, alongside other leaders in the I/DD and healthcare fields, at the third annual Germain Consulting Services Healthcare Hero Gala on Saturday.
They came to recognize several CP Family members who “have answered the call to serve their communities with dedication and passion” at the black-tie event. These include:
Excellence Award of Distinction to Kurt Amundsen, Direct Support Professional: “I have dedicated over 42 years to this rewarding field. The individuals I support have truly become my family…Together, we create a supportive environment that nurtures hope and healing for everyone involved.”
Leadership Award of Distinction to Sebastian Chittilappilly, Chief Program Officer: “His dedication to improving the quality of life and independence for adults with developmental disabilities has been the driving force behind his success in the I/DD provider field.”
Educator Award of Distinction to Melissa D’Accordo, Curriculum and Training Specialist: “With over 24 years of experience in I/DD education, she has held various roles at CP Unlimited, and is a published author as well as a strong advocate for high-quality educational opportunities for people with I/DD.” She is pictured here with Rosalind, one of the dedicated learners at CP Unlimited.
