Welcoming CM Kamillah Hanks to Cora Hoffman Center
“I see this place as very transformative,” said Council Member Kamillah Hanks of District 49 as she toured CPU’s Cora Hoffman Center on Staten Island.
The Day Program helps more than 100 individuals every day with education, entertainment, Article 16 therapies, and more.
CM Hanks was able to see the various classrooms, the inspirational M.O.V.E. program, our Smile Farms greenhouses, our Secure Doc shredding service, and other spaces while meeting our staff and persons supported and seeing familiar faces from her district.
Most importantly, we were able to share the vision for the next stage of the Cora Hoffman Center and our plans to expand and bring even more services to Staten Island.
